Who we are

007AJ Dog Training Academy provides online dog training courses, 1-on-1 sessions, group classes, homework video reviews and related products for adult dog owners. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your choices.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address and password (stored hashed) when you register.
  • Learning data: enrolments, lesson progress, quiz results, certificates and badges.
  • Dog profiles: your dog’s name, breed, age, photo and bio. Profiles are private unless you choose to show them in the community gallery.
  • Homework videos: clips you upload for review. They are visible to you and our trainers only and are deleted on request.
  • Bookings and orders: session times, class seats, shop orders, gift codes and shipping addresses for physical products.
  • Payment data: payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe or PayPal); we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Trainer directory listings: business details you submit for public display.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and essential cookies needed to keep you logged in.

How we use it

To provide and secure your account, deliver courses and sessions, review homework, fulfil orders, issue certificates, answer support requests and, if you opt in, send our newsletter. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal bases

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on contract (providing courses, sessions and orders), legitimate interests (security and service improvement), consent (marketing email, public gallery and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (tax records).

Sponsored content and affiliate links

Some lessons include gear recommendations with affiliate links, and some pages show sponsor banners. These are always labelled. Clicking them takes you to a third-party site with its own privacy policy.

Retention

We keep account and learning data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it within 90 days of account closure, except records we must keep for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent and object to processing. Contact us using the details on our contact page.
